Climate -

Greater part of the country remains devoid of rainfall largely except in the winter months. While South of Cairo receives rainfall of around 2 to 5 mm (0.1 to 0.2 in) per year and even at intervals of many years, thin strip of the northern coast receives a high rainfall of 410 mm, especially between October and March.
Temperatures of Egypt averages between 80 °F (27 °C) and 90 °F (32 °C) in summer, and up to 109 °F (43 °C) on the Red Sea coast. However, in winter, temperature remains between 55 °F (13 °C) and 70 °F (21 °C).

Abydos– It’s a pilgrimage to the burial site of the god Osiris. Now one of the best-preserved temples.
